Harbor Health·Digital health · Series A

From a 7-second homepage to a 0.9-second one.

The problem

Their marketing site was built in a page-builder plugin and dragged down every paid-ads campaign. LCP sat at 6.8s on 4G.

What I shipped

Rebuilt the whole site in Next.js with a Sanity CMS, trimmed third-party scripts to the essentials, and shipped a modern design system their team could extend.

Omar rebuilt our marketing site in three weeks. Our LCP dropped from 6.8s to under a second, and paid signups went up 41% the month after launch. He's the only contractor I've ever asked to send back for a second project.

We shipped our Series A landing site 10 days ahead of schedule. Every demo call since has started with “okay, your site is really nice”. That's not nothing when you're selling to CFOs.

Our team was spending two days publishing a single case study. Omar gave us a CMS and template that cut that down to twenty minutes. Our inbound leads doubled in the quarter after launch.

Why Daymark

Same brief. Three very different outcomes.

Founders don’t lose money on bad taste. They lose it on slow sites, vague scopes, and teams that disappear after launch.

Fit

I take fewer projects so the ones I take actually move.

A good fit

  • A live marketing site or SaaS that already has traffic — and is leaving money on the table
  • A founder or marketing lead who can decide in one call
  • A budget from $1.1k (audit, through 17 Nov), $6k to rebuild, or $2.7k a month
  • A preference for Next.js, not WordPress or Webflow

Not a fit

  • A brand-new idea with no product yet — start with a designer, then come back
  • A request to “make it pop” with no metric attached
  • Agencies looking to white-label the whole studio at 50% off
  • Anything that needs a 12-person team on day one
Process

Boring, predictable, repeatable.

Most freelance horror stories start with vague scopes and silent weeks. Here's exactly how a project with me runs.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation about your goals, your audience, and what success looks like. No slide decks, no pitch — just a real audit of where you are.

  2. 02

    Scope & proposal

A fixed-price proposal within 48 hours. Clear milestones, clear deliverables, clear timeline. You know exactly what you’re getting before signing.

  3. 03

    Design & build

I build in public — a staging URL from day one, Loom updates twice a week, and weekly review calls. Nothing is a surprise at the end.

  4. 04

    Launch & measure

I ship with analytics, performance budgets, and conversion tracking already wired up. Two weeks of free iteration follow every launch.

About

I started Daymark to build the websites I wanted to work on when I was in-house.

I'm Omar. I spent six years as a software engineer on marketing and growth teams, watching talented designers hand off beautiful mockups to bloated CMSs that killed every metric that mattered. In 2023 I started Daymark to fix that gap full-time.

Today the studio partners with founders, product teams, and boutique agencies to ship marketing sites, landing pages, and app surfaces that are measurably fast — and designed to earn the next click. Every project we take on is one we can personally measure the impact of.

If you're tired of “we'll optimise later”, we'll get along.

FAQ

Things clients usually ask first.

Can't find your question? Just email [email protected].

How quickly can we start?

Usually within 1–2 weeks of our first call. I only take two active projects at a time, so if we're a fit I'll either slot you in or tell you honestly when I can.

Do you work with existing design teams?

Absolutely — about half my work comes from design studios and in-house teams who want a specialist engineer. I can hand off a design system or extend yours.

What if we already have a site? Do we need a full rebuild?

Not necessarily. The Performance Audit exists for exactly this reason. In 30% of cases we uncover fixes you can ship in a week without touching the design.

What stacks do you work in?

I specialise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript. I happily work in Astro, Remix, and Shopify Hydrogen. I don't take new WordPress or Webflow projects.

Do you offer refunds or guarantees?

Every audit includes a results guarantee: if the recommendations don't move your Core Web Vitals into the green on a healthy page, you get the fee back. For full projects we work in milestones so you can stop at any point.

How do you handle NDAs and private work?

I sign NDAs on request and keep a private case-study portfolio for clients who prefer not to be listed publicly. Just mention it on the intake call.
